Keeping the Girl Child in School (KGCS)
Empowering Girls to Stay in School, Dream Big, and Break the Cycle of Poverty
Keeping the Girl Child in School (KGCS) is one of Women Reliance Foundation’s flagship projects, designed to ensure that vulnerable girls in Masaka District not only stay in school but also thrive in safe, supportive environments. Our goal is to break down the barriers that force girls out of school—poverty, early pregnancy, menstrual challenges, and lack of guidance—so they can rise into self-sufficient, empowered women who lead change in their communities.
KGCS delivers holistic, community-based interventions across 4 pillars: Education, Health, Empowerment, and Protection.
