How We Work
Practical, faith-inspired, and community-driven approach to empower girls and women in rural Uganda.
Unified Transformation
At Women Reliance Foundation, we use a practical, faith-inspired, and community-driven approach to empower girls and women in rural Uganda. Our work is guided by the belief that true transformation happens when education, economic opportunity, and family support go hand in hand.
Empowering Families through Economic Strengthening
Empowered mothers create empowered communities.
We support the families of the girls we serve — especially women — to build stronger, more stable homes by:
- Facilitating financial literacy and savings programs
- Offering vocational training in sustainable livelihoods like tailoring, farming, and small business
- Supporting women-led projects that increase household income and community resilience
Keeping the Girl Child in School
We walk alongside girls throughout their education journey.
Through mentorship, empowerment workshops, and spiritual guidance, we help girls build resilience and confidence to stay in school and resist pressures like early marriage, abuse, and negative peer influence.
Promoting Accessible Education for Girls
Education is a powerful tool for breaking generational poverty.
We identify girls from underprivileged families who have dropped out of school and support them with access to affordable, quality education — giving them a second chance to reclaim their dreams and build a brighter future.
